KEIM lime renders: A gift from nature

Lime mortar or mortars with lime additives have been used for thousands of years.

Lime render for indoor and outdoor use

Lime mortar or mortars with lime additives have been used in many important cultures, e.g. in the construction of the Pyramids of Giza (approx. 2500 B.C.) and the historical city on the island of Santorini (approx. 1625 B.C.). Natural hydraulic lime render convinces offers a balanced application profile. It is suitable for the increased demands of a modern, environmentally-conscious construction styles, and equally for the protection of monuments and historical structures.KEIM NHL lime renders offer excellent processing properties, low-tension hardening and positive characteristics for the living-space climate. The mineral render absorbs excess moisture from the air in its typical fine-lime structure, and then releases it if and when necessary.
