Substrate
Panel materials generally approved or standardised by the building authorities as external cladding, made of
- solid wood (coniferous wood) grading class S10 or strength class C24 as well as glued laminated timber according to DIN 1052
- cross laminated timber with layers of solid wood S10/ C24
- laminated beams with lamellas of solid wood S10/ C24 or panel materials according to DIN EN 13986 and DIN V2000-1 or general building approval
- synthetic resin-bonded chipboard type P5 or P7 โฅ 650 kg/mยณ, thickness โฅ 16 mm
- OSB boards type OSB/3 or OSB/4; โฅ600 kg/mยณ; โฅ 15 mm
- cement-bonded particleboards ; โฅ1300 kg/mยณ; โฅ 16 mm
- if necessary, special splash water protection in the plinth area
- if necessary, proof of adhesive tensile strength โฅ 0.08 N/mmยฒ
- other substrates are approved for KEIM MW-Lamelle
Approval and determination
- Flame retardant B1 according to DIN 4102-1 for insulation thicknesses up to 200 mm
