KEIM Classic MW auf Plattenwerkstoffen

The KEIM Classic-MW thermal insulation composite system on board materials is non-combustible and sustainable.

Substrate

Panel materials generally approved or standardised by the building authorities as external cladding, made of

  • solid wood (coniferous wood) grading class S10 or strength class C24 as well as
  • glued laminated timber according to DIN 1052
  • cross laminated timber with layers of solid wood S10/ C24
  • laminated beams with lamellas of solid wood S10/ C24 or panel materials according to DIN EN 13986 and DIN V2000-1 or general building approval. Approval
  • synthetic resin-bonded chipboard type P5 or P7 β‰₯ 650 kg/mΒ³, thickness β‰₯ 16 mm
  • OSB boards type OSB/3 or OSB/4; β‰₯600 kg/mΒ³; β‰₯ 15 mm
  • cement-bonded particleboards ; β‰₯1300 kg/mΒ³; β‰₯ 16 mm
  • if necessary, special splash water protection in the plinth area
  • if necessary, proof of adhesive tensile strength β‰₯ 0.08N/mmΒ²
  • for KEIM MW-Lamelle-S2 (041) other substrates are approved

Approval and determination

  • flame retardant B1 according to DIN 4102-1 for insulation thicknesses up to 200 mm
  • use in accordance with the requirements of the state building regulations for the entire wall construction
  • KEIM approval Z-33.47-727
