Decorarte company from Genoa took care of the restoration and redevelopment of the former Edison power plant, located in Corso Milano in Gravellona Toce (VB): the building was designed in the early decades of the 20th century that housed one of the first power plants in the country.

The work began with an initial phase of cleaning and hydro-washing of all the surfaces, subsequently a biocidal solution was used in the areas affected by biological patina. Then we moved on to the consolidation of all the surfaces with undiluted KEIM Fivativ and the execution of glazes and decorations with KEIM Granital diluted in a 1:3 ratio with KEIM Spezial-Fixativ.

The work was then concluded with the application of the colorless and hydrophobic finishing treatment based on silanes/siloxanes, KEIM Lotexan.
