St Andrews Kirk, Sheila Fleet Jewellery, Tankerness, Orkney

This beautifully-renovated former parish church was built in 1801 and is a Grade C-Listed building. KEIM Royalan and KEIM Lotexan N were specified in August 2016 and works were completed in March 2018. Render repairs were carried out prior to the preparation and decoration of KEIM Mineral Paints. KEIM Royalan Dilution was used over all surfaces to equalise surface porosity. The most hard-wearing paint system available is KEIM Royalan, which was applied onto the dry dash render as it withstands harsh climate conditions and is typically used for exposed locations. KEIM Lotexan N was applied onto the window sills, reveals and bare copings on buttress to provide a clear, water repellent coating.
