Radiant House, Mortimer Street, London

This fascinating turquoise tiled commercial building stands on the North side of Mortimer Street, between Great Titchfield Street and Wells Street. We were initially approached to repair the historic glazed turquoise tiles and after site visits and trials were carried out, we concluded that we couldn’t colour match to the turquoise tiles. This is because KEIM Mineral Paints are natural earth oxide colour pigments, so making certain colours is beyond our control. Despite not being able to achieve the colour match for the turquoise tiles, we were able to match to the surrounding beige façade. KEIM Restauro Lasur was applied to accommodate the natural look of stonework and blend in repairs.
