KEIMFARBEN is awarded the first natureplus seal of quality for mineral exterior paints
The "natureplus" quality seal marks the best products for sustainable building. The silicate paints are currently the only exterior paints that meet the comprehensive requirements of the European association "natureplus" in sustainability, resource protection and health. At the German fair "BAU 2017" in Munich, natureplus Managing Director, Thomas Schmitz and natureplus Chairman, Uwe Welteke-Fabricius handed over the documents to Rüdiger Lugert, Managing Director and Stefan Schmid, product manager at KEIMFARBEN GMBH.
"KEIM's silicate facade paints show that traditional products made from natural raw materials can meet the best current and future requirements for an ecological and durable facade design," said Schmitz. "The mineral principle ensures the highest quality and service life for the customer, which not least makes it a particularly sustainable and thus, economical management of buildings possible".
The natureplus logo is now available with the KEIM Granital® and KEIM Soldalit® product systems. KEIM Granital® is a ready-to-use, water-repellent dispersion silicate paint according to DIN 18363 para. 2.4.1., Non-flammable, with absolutely light-resistant, inorganic pigments and fillers, particularly suitable for economical and durable coatings on all mineral substrates.
