The ArchDaily competition "Building of the Year 2021" in the category "Office" has been decided: CONCORDIA DESIGN WROCŁAW - the building on the island of Słodowa designed by Studio MVRDV has won the international competition. It is a special example of how thoughtful new architectural design can honor and enhance historic architecture. A modern extension was added to a 19th century listed building. The result is a mixed-use building with co-working spaces, an event location, cafes and a rooftop terrace. The historic and modern facades were painted with the photocatalytic, sol-silicate paint KEIM Soldalit-ME, a natural concrete look in the stairwells was provided with the concrete stain KEIM Concretal-Lasur, and the vibrant colors of the interior mural were performed with KEIM Optil, KEIM Innostar and KEIM Concretal-Black.
