Workshop: Marble and stone imitation
Seminar content:
Stone is the soul of the earth – solid, timeless, yet full of movement. In this seminar, you will learn to reinterpret this impression with paint and glaze. Layer by layer, structures emerge that combine depth and transparency – sometimes subtle, sometimes majestic.
You will try out classic and modern techniques to design marbles and stones in their characteristic patterns, colours, transparency and light effects, combining craftsmanship and artistic expression. This creates illusionistic surfaces that enhance space and architecture – a timeless art between natural representation and aesthetic vision.
Method of teaching:
Picture lecture, practical demonstration, own practice on plates.
