The award is Germany's most prestigious recognition for exemplary environmental and social achievements. As the largest award of its kind in Europe, the DNP aims to encourage business and the municipal sector to act sustainably and to disseminate successful solutions.
KEIM was born with sustainability in mind, as the company founder A.W. KEIMFARBEN made a quantum leap in terms of sustainability last year: Over 60 products received Cradle to Cradle Certifiedยฎ Silver certification. The products account for over 80% of sales in the most important product range, paint. All products were also awarded the C2C Certified Material Health Certificate Gold level. This puts KEIM at the forefront of the construction industry and strengthens its role as a role model for healthy, circular products.
The KEIMFARBEN brand is based on high standards for the durability and quality of its colour products, supported by continuous innovation. Rรผdiger Lugert, Managing Director of KEIMFARBEN, is proud of the nomination: โAs a leading specialist in mineral building protection, we are called upon to think ahead to a future worth living and to act today to achieve this. The nomination for the German Sustainability Award confirms that we are living up to this responsibility - not only with our products and system solutions, but also with our ecological and social commitment within and outside our company.โ
The DNP award ceremony will take place in Dรผsseldorf on 28 November 2024. We at KEIM very much hope to be the industry winner.
