KEIM Spezial-Fixativ is a diluent and primer comprising pure liquid potassium silicate with small quantities of additional additives for KEIM silicate paints according to VOB/C DIN 18 363, 2.4.1.
Application Brick Staining, Historic Restoration & Preservation, Painting/Coating Exterior, Painting/Coating Interior, Priming Exterior, Priming Interior
Consumption For pretreatment on a smooth substrate:
approx. 0.1–0.2 l/m2 KEIM Spezial-Dilution
The stated consumption value is for guidance and
depends on the absorbency and texture of the substrate.
Exact consumption values can only be determined
by applying trial areas on the structure to be coated.

Usage KEIM Spezial-Dilution can be used as a diluent for the following KEIM coating systems:

KEIM Ecosil system
The absorbency of highly absorbent mineral substrates can be controlled or reduced with KEIM Spezial-Dilution.
